AIXE Apply
AIXE Certified · Operator

Learn to use AI in your own job, and get certified for it.

Operator is the first level of AIXE Certified. You work through five short lessons and a written check, then do a real task from your job with AI. An AIXE reviewer scores it, and if you pass you get a certificate anyone can check.

The first lesson

Module 1 explains how your company decides where AI should work, and has you sort your own week into three groups. Your practical comes from that list.

What you get

One seat covers the whole level.

5Lessons, two hours in all.
6Questions in the written check. You can retake it.
1Practical on your own work, scored by an AIXE reviewer.
5Lines on the scoring rubric, the same ones member companies use.
12Months your certificate stays valid, with a public page to check it.
The lessons

Five lessons, each with something to do on your own work.

The lessons don't teach one product. They work with whichever AI tools your job allows, and you don't need to know how to code.

The practical

One recurring task from your job, before and after.

You take a task you do every week, do it with AI, and show how you did it before, how you do it now, the check you ran, the data you used and the time it takes each way. An AIXE reviewer scores it on five lines. To pass, every line needs at least a 3 out of 4, and data handling needs a 4. If it doesn't pass, you get the reviewer's notes and can hand it in again.

Who's behind it

Built by the hosts of AIXE.

AIXE is a two-day retreat where founder-CEOs decide where AI should work in their companies. Operator is the course their teams take afterward. You're taking the same level, held to the same standard.

Questions

What people ask before they buy.

How long does it take?
The lessons take two hours in all. The practical is a task from your own job, so its length depends on the task. You work at your own pace.
Who scores my practical?
An AIXE reviewer, using the five lines above. On a team seat, your manager scores it as well. If the two scores are more than a point apart on any line, a second AIXE reviewer decides.
What if I don't pass?
You get the reviewer's notes, fix what they point to and hand it in again. Your seat covers that.
Can my company pay?
Yes. Checkout gives you an invoice you can expense. Or your company can buy team seats and invite you.
What do I need?
A computer and at least one AI tool your work allows you to use. If your company has an AI policy, have it handy for the first lesson.
What about Builder and Lead?
Those levels are for teams at AIXE member companies, whose leaders have set their plan at the retreat. See how certification works for members.
Can I see what a certificate looks like?
Every certificate has a public page. Anyone with the code can open it at aixe.co/learn/verify.
